To everyone complaining that Amy Winehouse’s death is getting more attention than africa/norway/anywhere and vice versa.

happyhealthyhopeful:

Death is not a contest.
Some people are more emotionally connected to someone that they listened to than to people that they don’t know. Some people feel more sorrow for the death of innocents than the death of one.
Either way- death is death. And it is sad, no matter where the attention goes.
